A few characters will be entirely naked in the RPG, and CD Projekt RED explained why they went this direction.
Adam Badowski, the game’s director, told Polygon the following: „Nudity is important for us because of one reason: this is cyberpunk, so people augment their body. So the body is no longer sacrum [sacred]; it’s profanum [profane]. Because people modify everything, they are losing their connection to the body, to the meat, and that’s why we need to use the nudity in many situations.”
A mission will have a woman kidnapped to harvest her cybernetic parts. We’ll find her in a bathtub full of ice, and she will be naked. There will be no pixelation or censorship included.
On VG247, we also saw that the figure, featuring the woman, acted by Katarzyna Danysz in the 2013 teaser, that was handed out for free by CD Projekt RED at E3, is already scalped on eBay for even 500 dollars or more than that.
Cyberpunk 2077 is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but with no release date set yet.
