Vampyr Has Decent Sales After Its Launch Month

Dontnod‘s (Life is Strange, Remember Me) newest game has a healthy sales performance after its first month on the market.

The French developer announced that Vampyr has 450 thousand sales after one month, and this number includes the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sales. Although it’s not a significantly big number in comparison to AAA titles (no matter which one), the developers are celebrating. Vampyr was their third game, and they dubbed it as an „AA” title. (A similar game could be the now Microsoft-led Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on PlayStation 4 and PC from last summer, with a recent release on Xbox One.)

Oskar Guilbert, Dontnod‘s CEO is proud of the result, and he can do that for a good reason: Vampyr wasn’t a weak game. In fact, critics also mostly gave high scores for the adventures of the doctor-turned-vampire.

Will it reach a million by October? We hope it will!
