InXile Entertainment, the team captained by veteran Brian Fargo who are authors of the fantastic Torment: Tides of Numenera, has announced that its new role adventure The Bard’s Tale 4 will premiere on Xbox One and PS4 later this year, while the already announced version of PC will do it next September 18.

Now available for booking on compatible, those who participated in the collective funding campaign of The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep will have immediate access to a beta testing phase that starts today. Users who pre-purchase the Platinum and Ultimate special editions will also be able to enjoy this testing period.

This fantasy RPG is a return to the roots of the veteran series The Bard’s Tale. This role-playing adventure in the first person confronts us with exciting turn-based battles, in which we must take advantage of the special abilities of the heroes that are part of our team, while we also solve all kinds of puzzles.
