The sub-series only started three years ago, so it’s quite impressive that it sold so many copies in such a short time.

Bandai Namco announced that the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series was very successful, more than 10 million copies were sold from it – including digital sales and worldwide physical shipments.

The first Xenoverse game was released in 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, while Xenoverse 2 followed it a year later, although it skipped the prev-gen consoles. Xenoverse 2 later also got ported to the Switch.

Since the start, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 received many free patches and content updates, but it’s not all, because there’s more to come in the future.

By the way, the newest game in the world of Dragon Ball is Dragon Ball FigterZ, which was released early this year.
