A new action-RPG that isn’t years away from its launch.
Deep Silver (which we could call THQ Nordic at this point as they acquired Koch Media, owners of DS, half a year ago…) will be the publisher of Outward, which is developed by Nine Dots Studio and Maximum Games. Let’s see what the press release says:
„In Outward, you play an adventurer, traveller, and explorer. Most importantly, you are vulnerable, equipped with as much power as your adversaries. Survive through wild, brutal lands teeming with enemies, obstacles, and fantasy creatures, using combat and magic to overcome both the harsh environment and the rivals in your way.
Outward is an open-world RPG playable alone or with friends, either online or in split-screen co-op. Start from humble beginnings and build your way up until you become a hardened wanderer. Traverse incredible landscapes rich with diversity and life, progressing your skills with each dynamic quest.”
On paper, it doesn’t sound too bad. Outward, which has a website here, will arrive on February 12 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, in both physical and digital format, for 40 dollars/euros.
