Larry… has grown. No, not in the way you think he did…

Assemble Entertainment has an exciting idea: the team is making a direct sequel to the first game made in 1987, but they have also made Larry have a proper size and not be as small as he was before. The franchise’s original idea is still in place.

The point-and-click adventure game still has you to help Larry fulfil his sexual needs. Even the title hints at it (do we need to explain that any further?), but the environment has been modernized a bit. Larry can use his mobile app (which is called Timber – a pun on Tinder, eh?) to score a date with women.

Larry was thrown into the present day from the past, which means he has to learn the social media, the smartphones, and their apps to succeed. Maybe this approach can make the franchise shine as bright as it could three decades ago. We’ll see shortly – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry is out on November 7 on PC and Mac.
