4K and 60 FPS on PS5 and Scarlett or visual improvement?

According to the Italian team’s CEO, developers must choose what to sacrifice.

The video game development teams continue to offer their impressions of what they expect with the increasingly new generation of consoles. Among these are the Italians of Forge Studios who, through its president and founder Stefano Pinna, have responded to the press in an interview that they do not believe that a 4K and 60 FPS performance is necessarily standardized in the new releases, and still hypothetical, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett.

“In my opinion, it will be each developer who chooses how to take advantage of the new power of the devices”, he explained to the specialized portal GamingBolt. “You can opt for a higher resolution and fluency of game, or maybe bet for a greater visual fidelity with a lower resolution rendering, for example, a video game currently pointer as a title of Naughty Dog could go to 4K and 60 FPS with new and incredible technological additions, but if we want a visual improvement, it will be cut in both fields “, explained Stefano Pinna.

Until the moment of the announcement comes, it only remains to speculate and debate where Microsoft and Sony should look for this next generation. Officially, for now, only AMD has confirmed working on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett without offering details.
