Spider-Man Receives New Game+ Mode And Ultimate Difficulty Level!

The 1.07 and the 1.08 patches have both arrived in Insomniac GamesPlayStation 4-exclusive.

The developers brought out the patch before the first DLC of the season pass (The City That Never Sleeps), although it didn’t happen on October 17. However, a two-day delay isn’t a problem. The 1.07 patch adds support for the first DLC, The Heist (which we discussed in detail earlier this week), adds New Game+, the Ultimate difficulty level, and it also allows you to access Photo Mode with the left button on the D-Pad. It also allows you to rotate layers, or use new frames and stickers in Photo Mode.

The patch also tuned Friendly combat difficulty (easier than before), added a max health cap of 250 and normalized players, added a potential solution for a crash related to graphical artifacting, plus it addressed several issues (players could respawn inside a building in the Financial District, animation during cinematics could break due to hard drive streaming, pedestrians would disappear for a frame in the distance, combat music would persist in the open world after completing a Sable Base, and other various issues). The 1.08 patch note is short: it „addresses additional issues.”

Spider-Man continues to be supported by Sony and Insomniac Games, and for a good reason: it’s a major PlayStation 4-exclusive.
