Omen Of Sorrow’s First Character Is… Hungarian! [VIDEO]

What a surprise from AOne Games: their fighting game will expand with a Hungarian character!

The first, free DLC character is going to be Erzsébet Báthory (1560-1614), who was the wife of Ferenc Nádasdy, someone having success against the Ottoman attacks. She’s a legendary person, but not in a positive way: Tragica historica, a book released in 1729, depicted her as a serial killer who used blood as a way to keep up her beauty. This is why we can call her „The Vampire Queen,” too.

The developers had taken this legend when they created Erzsébet (respect for even using the Hungarian accented letter é in her name!), whose announcement trailer mentions a January release date. She’s a bloody baroness who uses a blood dragon during battles. Her finisher move stylishly uses the dragon, too. Omen of Sorrow also got a soundtrack overhaul, which is now shifted towards the hard rock sounds in this indie fighting game.

What a surprising move from the developers, but we appreciate their idea nevertheless…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
