Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio Producer Hypes A New Game (Or Games)!

Teruyuki Toyama, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio’s producer, says we should expect their unannounced project.

The situation is somewhat complicated: the Japanese term for „title” can be interpreted as plural, too, which means Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Japanese studio could have more than one game in development for us. However, one of them will likely be revealed in 2019 – this is why we are a little confused, even if the context seems to suggest one game.

Toriyama worked on Bloodborne (PlayStation 4), Déraciné (PlayStation VR), and Astro Bot Rescue Mission (PlayStation VR). Masaki Yamagiwa, who also worked on Déraciné and Bloodborne, added that his goal is to work on a new game in 2019. We read these on 4Gamer.

SIE Japan Studio has helped/developed several games on PlayStation 4: Knack 1-2, Bloodborne, The Last Guardian, Shadow of the Colossus – we can’t wait to see what they will announce next year.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
