A Sexual Predator In Fortnite!

A 41-year-old man in Florida is accused of sexual grooming via Fortnite.

Anthony Gene Thomas is accused of unlawful sex with a minor, as well as possessing images and photos of at least one victim. He managed to „accomplish” these by contacting his victims via Fortnite‘s voice chat. The police believe that Thomas could have had up to twenty victims.

Thomas began conversating with a 17-year-old girl in Fortnite. He began grooming her by giving her a lot of gifts and cash. He also gave his victim a mobile phone to keep in touch with her. In August, they met personally, and the sexual offences were committed on Thomas’ home.

The victim’s parents reported to the police that their child is missing, but they found her and brought her home. Thomas was caught via the victim continuing to talk with her. The police investigated Thomas’ home, and they found a phone that had pornographic images and videos, which led to Thomas’ arrest.
