Nintendo reveals how many Switches have been sold so far

The Japanese company slightly lowers the sales forecasts of its hybrid video game console.

We were wishing to know how many Nintendo Switch game consoles have been sold all over the world so far, and finally, Nintendo has contributed the first data until December 31, 2018. 32.27 million consoles have been sold worldwide.

Apparently, in the last quarter of 2018 9.41 million consoles were sold until reaching this figure, and during that period they have also managed to sell 52.51 million video games.

What does this mean? That the hybrid video game console continues to enjoy good health, although Nintendo has significantly reduced its sales expectations. They were set at 20 million video game consoles for the time frame from April 2018 to March 2019, and now it has dropped to 17 million consoles.

The Japanese company, likewise, has also made public what Switch’s best-selling video games have been to date, in a ranking that highlights the meritorious third place of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
