Is Borderlands 3 Getting Announced At PAX East 2019?

Gearbox is warming up the engines…

Gearbox Sofware has confirmed that they will host a panel at PAX East 2019, and it will start on March 28 at 2 PM Pacific. It will run for an hour, and the description of this panel is what caught our attention. We will hear „the latest news and updates” from them, and we’ll see „never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises.”

Our first thought is Borderlands 3 – in Take-Two’s fiscal reports, there has been an unannounced title for a long time, and it’s unlikely to not be Gearbox’ looter-shooter, especially how they were recruiting people in 2015 for the next Borderlands title, which by now should be in an advanced development state.

The other two possibilities are Project 1v1 (we previously talked about it when it was revealed, but we haven’t heard much since…), and Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, which was registered in Korea in Max, and in Taiwan in January for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. We’ll see. (We’d appreciate a new Brothers in Arms, too…)
