The PlayStation 5 Might Come With An Outstanding Function! [VIDEO]

Sony might be bringing something new with its next-gen console.

Sony‘s patent can be found here, and Google‘s website has pictures for this patent as well. This patent is for something called Personalized Data Driven Game System. What is it, you ask?

The Personalized Data Driven Game System is an intelligent system that continuously analyses the player’s performance and the game, and the latter gets modified, customised to the player’s experience, preferences, and the like. The video below talks about this, too. For example, let’s say you don’t take turns in Gran Turismo well (and let’s admit it, there’s definitely a next-gen title in development…), so the system might help you by braking in time so you learn when to slam the square button to avoid flying off the track. Another example is that the game’s story could change to suit our preferences – of course, the developers will have to leave some doors open for that…

In short, the PlayStation 5 might come with deep learning (as the Personalized Data Driven Game System is just that with a fancy name…), which – if it does end up being part of the console – might finetune games to our liking. Of course, it isn’t announced or confirmed at all.

We have seen possible specs for Microsoft’s new Xbox (Xboxes?). They might have power, while the next PlayStation 5 has the „brains?”

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
