Cuphead Will Be Out On Nintendo Switch! The Launch Trailer is Great Fun! [VIDEO]

The Studio MDHR video game will be released in April along with new content, also on PC and Xbox One.

The great Cuphead will be released on Nintendo Switch and will not have to wait long to enjoy the hybrid console of this challenging action and platform video game. During the last Nintendo Direct dedicated to independent studies has confirmed that this title, originally published on PC and Xbox One, is put on sale on April 18 for 19.99 euros.

That same day a great update of free content on PC and Xbox One, with “fun surprises” and the possibility of controlling Mugman in campaign mode is also released. This update also adds new animated scenes, “never seen before art and introductions for the combats”, besides correcting some errors.

“It’s no secret that Cuphead is a direct descendant of retro action games like Contra on NES, so it’s amazing to finally have one of our games on a Nintendo platform,” said one of the studio’s directors, Chad Moldenhauer. It is worth remembering that the team was working on the content expansion Cuphead The Delicious Last Course that will add a handful of new bosses and scenarios in which to fight.

The announcement of Cuphead is preceded by rumours that Xbox Game Pass would be available on Nintendo Switch, this being one of his first titles. While the first part has not been fulfilled, at least for now, it is surprising that this title has finally finalized its release on the Nintendo console.
