Can Valve count to three after all?

Regarding information related to Valve, a YouTuber by the name of Tyler McVicker can be called reliable. His video has been embedded below. He published no less than twenty-nine screenshots that are apparently from an early build of Left 4 Dead 3. The screenshots can be found on Imgur here.

If this is legit, this early build of Left 4 Dead 3 was built „within the assets set” of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Its Dust 2 map, to be exact. However – as GamesRadar points out – these could only be no more than old assets of the Counter-Strike game.

Left 4 Dead 3 has been reportedly cancelled several years ago, which means the images themselves could be quite old, and we’re talking about yet another franchise that is related to Valve and is without a third numbered instalment. Examples? Half-Life 2: Episode 3. Half-Life 3. Portal 3. Team Fortress 3. We haven’t heard from any of them to be in development…

Can we trust the screenshots? The answer is not so sure. If yes, then these images could be outdated (dated 2013… and we’re not sure if anything has happened since!). If not, then it could be nothing more than a major hoax, and both are possible… and the images themselves aren’t exciting either. We’re not alone in this thought, right?
