Liam Neeson in The Great Game: the prequel to Kingsman saga

MOVIE NEWS – The Kingsman saga continues to chart its course with in addition to a third opus, the preparation of a prequel christened The Great Game.

With more than $ 800 million cashed for the first two episodes, it’s obvious that director and producer Matthew Vaughn is not going to let such a big deal.

While a Kingsman 3 will open in February 2020, the franchise, which is the adaptation of Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons comics will expand its universe regarding Britain’s most delusional secret agents, and afford The Great Game, a prequel that will plunge us into the heart of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The story will follow Conrad, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Oxford, who, to serve his country, will find himself immersed in the world of espionage.

So of course, given the period of storytelling, exit Colin Firth and Taron Egerton, who are just not supposed to be born, but Vaughn who has already formed a cast with the onions with Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, Harris Dickinson – who will play Conrad -, Daniel Brühl, Gemma Arterton, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Rhys Ifans, has just offered the services of the great Liam Neeson, whose role it will remain unclear. Exciting no?

For fans of the actor, know that you will find it on June 12 in the poster of Men in Black: International, which looks promising.

So will Kingsman become a saga of the next few years?
