The download of this patch for the PlayStation 4 firmware is 440MB.

Periodically Sony is releasing firmware updates for PS4 , its desktop console. Some of them are powerful, with attractive additions and improvements, others are much more discreet and we could label them as “transition patches”. This time we talk about the second ones.

Sony has simply indicated that its new firmware “improves system performance ” of the PlayStation 4 game console, and does so in exchange for a download of 440MB and a disk space to run the update of something more than double: 995MB .

In fact, at the beginning of June we were talking about three improvements for PS4 that will arrive soon, and that are focused on communication with our friends. It is usual that patches like the one we are dealing with today or the 6.70 update pave the way for the arrival of more ambitious firmware revisions in the future.
