The Witcher series for Netflix presents its first trailer, and it’s epic! [VIDEO]

An extensive review of the characters and scenarios of the television adaptation of the work of Andrzej Sapkowski in The Witcher series.

As expected, Netflix has presented the first trailer of The Witcher’s highly anticipated television adaptation as part of the San Diego Comic-Con.

This is an advance of just under two minutes where we can see for the first time in action Henry Cavill characterized as Geralt de Rivia as well as the rest of the main cast, including Yennefer and Ciri, of this new version for the small screen of the work of Andrzej Sapkowski. The video also shows how ambitious this production wants to be, which, for the moment, does not have a release date.

It is not the only news related to the series published in the last hours. In an interview with the American website Entertainment Weekly, Lauren S. Hissrich, showrunner of The Witcher, described as “very adult” the tone of the production, stressing that any scene of violence or sex in history will not be free, but to boost the story. This, in addition, will not count “really” with a villain and will concentrate great importance on the interaction between monsters and humans.

Hissrich also wanted to insist that the production adapts the original novels of Andrzej Sapkowski and not the saga of video games The Witcher of CD Projekt RED.

On the other hand, while the premiere date of the first season arrives, there are already rumours that Netflix has renewed The Witcher for several seasons.
