Will The New Batman Game Be Announced At The Game Awards?

There are stronger signs of the next adventures of Batman being announced by Warner in a couple of weeks.

We have discussed rumours a million times about the potential next Batman game (or games), as well as the two studios behind it (or them), namely Warner Bros. Montreal and Rocksteady – the former developed Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013, and the latter one made all the other main Arkham titles (Batman: Arkham Asylum – 2009, Batman: Arkham City – 2011, Batman: Arkham Knight – 2015, Batman: Arkham VR – 2016), except for the mobile spin-offs (Batman: Arkham City Lockdown – 2011, Batman: Arkham Origins – 2013, Batman: Arkham Underworld – 2015). As it’s been over four years that the last main Arkham game was released (let’s face it, Arkham VR is not a main instalment), it’d be about time for Warner to reveal what one of the key DC characters could be getting shortly.

„This information comes from the same guy that provided me with leaked images from the cancelled Damian Wayne Batman game YEARS before they leaked to the public. He is very reliable, although nothing is 100% [confirmed],” SLCMOF writes on Twitter, plugging a stream, which we will not link, as in the 90-minute stream, all that is important to know is that it is going to be revealed at The Game Awards on December 12 (or 13 if you’re in Europe).

However, keep in mind that the information is not confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt, so we’ll believe it when we see it – if Warner is tricky, they leave the announcement to the end of the show to surprise the crowd. Is the Court of Owls involved? We’ll know in two weeks. (The game is rumoured to be called Batman: Arkham Legacy.)
