PlayStation Hits Guinness World Record!

The 25-year-old PlayStation also had its 2019 PlayStation Awards handed out, too.

„We’re thrilled to be certified as the best-selling home video game console brand ever, with over 450 million units sold across the original PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 as of November 7 according to Guinness World Records. And it’s all thanks to you!”, Sony wrote on Twitter. According to VGChartz’ figures, 450.19 million units were sold, including the other versions of the PlayStation home consoles as well (PSOne, PlayStation 2 Slim, PlayStation 3 Slim, PlayStation 3 Super Slim, PlayStation 4 Slim, and PlayStation 4 Pro). Congratulations to Sony!
