Daybreak Games Has Acquired The Makers Of The Mysterious New Alien Game

Cold Iron Studios continues to work on the new Alien action game with the parents of PlanetSide and H1Z1 – what’s going on in the team’s labs?

There are many unknowns surrounding the new Alien video game on which Cold Iron Studios works, and which was long ago described as an action MMO in the Alien universe. To this day we still have no clues about this project, but there has been news regarding its authors, who have been bought by Daybreak Games.

“We are incredibly proud and excited to be a part of the Daybreak family,” said Cold Iron Studios Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Craig Zinkievich, who will continue to lead the team in charge of the Alien game. “Daybreak and Cold Iron share the same passion and a long history creating multiplayer action video games for a global audience,” he added in an official statement.

“By combining our decades of experience in developing and launching successful multiplayer games, we were destined to make great games together.” Unfortunately, we still have no news of this action game based on the Alien universe that we know about since the beginning of 2018.

This was one of the big projects of FoxNext, Fox’s video game division, but a few months ago Disney sold FoxNext, ending its direct presence in the video game industry. Which is why Iron Cold Studios had to find a new partner with whom they can carry out this project.
