Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League: In The Same World As Arkham

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will share its universe with the Batman Arkham series, while Gotham Knights will not.

The celebration of the DC FanDome has brought some exciting news to fans of DC superheroes. As for video games, two titles have been shown: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights. The first one is obviously dedicated to the Suicide Squad, and the new Rocksteady game will share the universe with the Batman: Arkham games.

The game, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC in 2022, is a “continuation” of the world created in that Batman video game series, as confirmed by Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill. He explained that the new Suicide Squad game is part of that universe and will offer players the continuation of the plot and characters first introduced in those Arkham games.

On the other hand, Gotham Knights, the new game from Warner Bros. Games Montreal that will arrive in 2021 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC, will not share a world with the Batman of the Arkham universe or with the new game of the Suicide Squad, telling a new story in a whole new and different world.
