Snake’s Voice in Metal Gear Solid Would Want to Play Wolverine in Marvel’s Wolverine

Insomniac Games’ new game for PS5 attracts one of the great figures of video game dubbing, and Marvel’s Wolverine is no exception.

The past PlayStation Showcase left us exciting news such as the announcement of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the long-awaited sequel to the magnificent Spider-Man from Insomniac Games of 2018, which was expanded with the adventure of Miles Morales, and in which we will face one of the most iconic villains in the wall-crawler franchise.

But it was not the only Marvel license announced. Insomniac Games repeated with another Marvel character, this time from the X-Men universe, and did so with a short trailer that introduced us to Wolverine in a tavern, with his most classic appearance and an incredible close-up of its claws. Since he is still very early in development, there has been speculation about many aspects of the character and how Insomniac will approach them.

One of the characteristics that most defines the characters in video games is their dubbing. The actor receives feedback from the character, expressing a unique personality. One of the most famous voice actors in video games in the West is David Hayter, the famous actor who recently worked on projects like Bloodstained but is recognised for his role in the Metal Gear Solid saga.

Snake’s voice became so iconic that even Jade Raymond polemicised about replacing the actor in Metal Gear Solid V. Hayter has always been interested in his work in the industry. This time he has done it for the character of Wolverine. He has shown it on his Twitter account, where he has taken advantage of the support received by the fans to show his desire to play Logan in the next PlayStation video game. If you want to know all the secrets that the Marvel’s Wolverine trailer hides, remember that you have available the article. Our partner, Chema Mansilla, reveals all the curiosities and Easter eggs hidden in it.
