The Developer Of The Xbox-Exclusive The Ascent Is Aware Of The Appetite For The PS5 Version, And Asks Fans To Be Patient

The development team at Neon Giant has given PlayStation users some hope by admitting that it is aware of potential claims about The Ascent for PlayStation 5, and urged gamers to be on the lookout.

The official Twitter account for The Ascent suddenly interjected into a conversation between two users, in which it was flagged. One player expressed his desire for an Xbox Kena: Bridge of Spirits, while the other wanted to play a PS5The Ascent’.

“Hello! Thanks for letting us know you’d like to see The Ascent on PS5!” Neon Giant’s social media team responded. “While we don’t have anything to announce right now, we want you to know we hear you and the team are aware of the demand for a PS5 version. Keep an eye right here on our Twitter for updates!”

The Ascent is an Xbox console-exclusive game published by Curve Digital. It is a role-playing action shooter set in a sci-fi cyberpunk world. The Ascent can be played solo or with a partner in co-op.

The official announcement reads as follows:

The Ascent will see players dive into ‘The Ascent Group’ arcology, a self-contained corporate-run metropolis, stretching high into the sky and filled with creatures from all over the galaxy. Taking on the role of an indentured worker, the world starts to go haywire when The Ascent Group shuts down for unknown reasons. Life becomes a case of survival, with rival corporations and crime syndicates looking to fill the empty space. Players will have to take up arms and hold them off. The Ascent begins here.
