The month’s new releases dominated the PlayStation Store download charts for September 2021. As for PS VR games, Beat Saber took the top spot, followed by Job Simulator.
The big winner was NBA 2K22, as it not only topped the PlayStation 5 download charts in Europe and North America but was also the most downloaded PS4 game in both regions.
The charts published by Sony also show that players of Kena: Bridge of Spirits were more likely to download the game on PS5. Ember Lab‘s title was almost nowhere on the PS4 charts but debuted at #3 in the US/Canada and was #1 on PS5 in Eurpe.
Meanwhile, Deathloop debuted at #2 in the US/Canada and #4 in Europe. Ghost of Tsushima and the Death Stranding director’s cut followed.
