PlayStation Plus: What Games Await Us In October?

Now we’re no longer in the situation with PlayStation Plus where the first Tuesday of the month falls on the seventh and we find out on the first (the Wednesday before) exactly what those who sign up to Sony’s unrestricted online multiplayer on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will get for that month.

Earlier this week, we wrote about how a French website (aimed to recap all the discounts and giveaways in one spot), Dealabs, has revealed a list containing the alleged October PlayStation Plus games. We wrote about it because, in late August, the same page has shared a list for the potential September PlayStation Plus titles, which turned out to be valid. Thus, it’s plausible to think that we once again have learned prematurely about the games Sony wants to give away in October.

Let’s see what Dealabs wrote. They believe that the PlayStation 5 owners will receive Hell Let Loose for this month, while the PlayStation 4 users will be somewhat out of luck, as one, Mortal Kombat X is quite outdated (it not only got obsoleted by Mortal Kombat 11, it’s also a six-year-old game), meaning one of the titles is a fighting game, but two, there would be a sports game (namely a golf title called PGA Tour 2K21). Were these games announced, or, unlike with the September titles, did Sony manage a final-second change?

The answer is yes; these are indeed the games. Sony once again did not change the list, and the company cannot keep the PlayStation Plus games a secret anymore. Once again, congratulations “to the blues”… The three games (Hell Let Loose (PlayStation 5), Mortal Kombat X (PlayStation 4), PGA Tour 2K21 (PlayStation 4)) will be available until November 1.

Until then, don’t forget that the September games are still available until October 4. So if you missed the previous trio, it’s not too late to obtain Overcooked: All You Can Eat! (PlayStation 5), Predator: Hunting Grounds (PlayStation 4), and Hitman II (PlayStation 4).
