Gotham Knights: Five Factions Fighting For Control Of The City, Together With The Court Of Owls

The Warner Bros. Games Montreal video game: Gotham Knights has only just begun to show its world.

Last weekend we finally got a new trailer for Gotham Knights. Warner Bros. was not very generous in gameplay news, but they released a couple of videos showing the Court of Owls’ importance for this new adventure set in the Batman universe. Now, through the web portal of the video game, we have discovered that it is only one of its five factions.

What are the remaining four? There is no answer, although possibly one of these sides in combat is the Gotham City Police Department, to which the players will have to return their discipline in the action RPG. For the following, we can speculate with other secret societies of great importance in DC comics, such as The Holy Order of Saint Dumas or the League of Shadows. On the other hand, last year, they already commented that there were five districts of Gotham in the video game to explore with multiple criminal factions.

Returning to the Court, it is presented on the Gotham Knights website as a secret society that has controlled Gotham City almost since its founding. “Made up of members of the oldest and most affluent families in the city’s history, the Court is the backbone that shapes Gotham City’s history, controlling the flow of wealth and industry for more than two centuries .”

The trailer shared in the DC FanDome also confirmed the Penguin among the known faces of the Dark Knight in the video game. At the same time, a year ago, we experienced a battle against Mr Freeze in gameplay, so we should not rule out some society made up of Batman’s most illustrious villains.

During the next few weeks, we should find more news about it. Gotham Knights had planned its landing in 2021. However, for compelling reasons, its managers were forced to postpone its launch to 2022, their exact arrival date in stores is unknown. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League also dropped a new trailer on the DC FanDome and will premiere in 2022.
