MOVIE NEWS – Hungarian actor Sándor Oszter, winner of the Kossuth and Jászai Mari prizes, died at 73. His wife posted the news of his death on her social networking site.

 

Hungarian actor Sándor Oszter, winner of the Kossuth and Jászai Mari prizes, has died. His wife announced his death on her social networking site.

He became famous for his role in the film Sándor Rózsa. He joined the Vígszínház in 1971 and worked at the National Theatre from 1978 to 1989. He then continued as a freelance artist and later became a member of the National Theatre again.

In 2008 he was an actor at the Jókai Theatre in Békéscsaba. In addition to his theatre career, he has also appeared in several films. He appeared in films such as The Hounds, Job’s Rebellion, 80 Hussars, Diary for My Children, Argo and The Vizskis.
