JRPG .hack//G.U. Last Recode Announces New Trailer for Upcoming Nintendo Switch Port [VIDEO]

Last Recode was released for PC and PS4 back in 2017 to great acclaim among fans of the franchise.

 

 

Fans of JRPGs will remember .hack//G.U. Last Recode fondly as the sequel to the genre-defining RPG series .hack, which was a huge success on PS2 back in the day. The game was released back in 2017, initially for PC and PS4, and the publisher has now decided to port it to Nintendo Switch.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode will be released for Nintendo Switch on March 10, 2022.

Bandai Namco confirms via a trailer that revisits some of the trilogy’s significant scenes included in the title. The compilation will arrive on Nintendo’s hybrid on March 10, 2022. This will allow players to once again return to The World, the fictional MMORPG featured in some of the franchise’s products, to relive the experience on Nintendo Switch.

The .hack//G.U. Last, Recode is a remastered compilation of three titles from the saga, reshaping how the JRPG is imagined through a fresh take on the game. Overall, it stands out with its comprehensive gameplay system, capable of dazzling all fans of the genre who are also captivated by the amount of content the trilogy has to offer.

Bandai Namco is thus making it possible to take these adventures with you wherever you go, thanks to a critical feature of Nintendo Switch, expanding the number of players, which reached 300,000 in 2018.
