Halo Infinite News: Craig Meme And Non-Replayable Missions

Halo Infinite has finally been released, and we have two exciting pieces of news to share with you, based on players’ first impressions.

It’s only been a few hours since the final version of Halo Infinite was released, but fans have already been confronted with two interesting facts – one funny and one less so – about 343 Industries’ latest release.

Funny reference to Craig

After the beta launch, the brutish figure became an icon, and 343 Industries hasn’t forgotten about him in the final product: Craig appears in Halo Infinite via a funny wink. As his popularity grew, even to the point of Phil Spencer’s T-shirt, it was expected that there would be a reference to the character in the game, and so it was.

All of this came to light a few days ago, when a few people received the Halo Infinite campaign ahead of time. Now that the game is about to reach a lot more gamers, we’ll tell you where you can find this fun little giggle for yourself. Don’t worry about any spoilers because we won’t give away any details that could ruin the experience.

Craig’s attractive, axe-carved physique

Where is Craig? When you start the fourth mission of the campaign, you’ll see a very tall tower. If you climb to the top and take a close look at one of the walls, you’ll find out what Craig has been up to since his warrior days were over. This beast has decided to give up all his weapons and become a rock star…

A poster detailing Craig’s tour, the “Zeta Halo Tour”, is on the wall. You can also find some of the greatest hits from his albums, such as “I Am So Famous”, “I Smile Inside”, “I Got Tears Last Summer”, and other recordings.

After the first gameplay footage from Halo Infinite was shown, Craig became very famous for his low-res model, which got more laughs than disgust from gamers. Now, however, 343 Industries has tweaked the character’s look, who looks completely different. Still, it’s nice of 343 Industries to have captured his meme in the game’s campaign.

Are some missions not replayable?

Although Halo Infinite has slipped quite a bit, unfortunately, it seems that there are still plenty of bugs left. However, 343 Industries promises that Master Chief’s latest adventure will be updated with extra content and iconic features of the franchise, which will be seen with the ability to replay missions. For now, the game does not allow you to return to each episode.

This is what a Microsoft representative said in an interview with Polygon, where it was reported that this now-classic feature is missing from the series:

“The postgame does give you the option to keep exploring the wider environment, but for missions like the first two, where you’re not on the ring yet, you can’t replay from the same save file.”

However, this doesn’t mean that 343 Industries has given up on this option for good, as they are well aware that it’s part of the essence of Halo. They’ve already tried to reassure the community, promising a future update introducing this feature, comments The Verge. “We haven’t announced a date but that is being worked on,” said Paul Crocker, 343 Industries associate creative director. “So we made a decision to improve the quality of the single-player campaign to ensure that, as a foundation, that it’s as strong as it possibly could be so that we could then add the other features back in.”

So it looks like the ability to replay missions is still a little way off in Halo Infinite, which is also true for the co-op campaign and Forge mode. In addition, 343 Industries does not fail to support the adventure with extra content, as multiplayer will include several game modes that will be added later on. However, no further news on the physical release has been released yet.
