Total War: Warhammer III Is Perfect Starting Point For Exploring The Series And The Warhammer Universe, Creative Assembly Says

According to the studio, the story and gameplay of Total War: Warhammer III is perfectly enjoyable on its own and doesn’t need to be played with the previous titles.

As this is the third game, some gamers may think it’s too late to start the journey with Total War: Warhammer III, Creative Assembly’s new RTS game. To dispel this – and many other – doubts, 3DJuegos spoke to the team behind the project in a recent interview, who immediately made it clear that the game was created with the intention of being the perfect starting point for the series.

“This game is the best way to immerse yourself in the Warhammer universe” – Mark Sinclair

“This game is the best title for immersing yourself in the Warhammer universe,” said Mark Sinclair, the game’s lead designer. “We’ve got a prologue that really helps you understand the mechanics of the game, introducing the story and narrative and all the species.”

“In previous games, there were different storylines and different races, but you’ll find them here,” Sinclair continued. “There will always be an old acquaintance to do battle with – in other words, there are many ways to enjoy the game.”

Sinclair noted that the team had made a giant leap in accessibility, as Warhammer III includes so many refinements requested in previous editions that he couldn’t list them all. However, the title is still missing some of the mechanics the community has been talking about, such as naval combat.

Total War: Warhammer III will be released for PC on February 17. Despite being a PC-focused release, the team has stated that they are not ruling out a possible port to consoles and are very interested to see what could come out of such a release.
