Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first timed exclusive of 2022 will launch in a few days, although this collection consists of two games already available on PlayStation 4. However, the PlayStation 5 ports for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy are remastered. And these games are no longer available for separate purchase on PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store.

Here’s what the PlayStation Blog wrote about the collection when it got announced in September: “This brand-new remastered bundle includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, featuring Nathan Drake as he hunts for Captain Avery’s long-lost treasure, setting off for one final far-flung adventure across the jungles of Madagascar to the long lost pirate colony of Libertalia. It also includes Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which chronicles Chloe Frazer’s breakout exploits as she moves from frenemy to hero—enlisting the assistance of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross, Chloe ventures to India’s the Western Ghats to locate the Golden Tusk of Ganesh.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available in early 2022 for PlayStation 5. The PC version is in development by our partners at Iron Galaxy,” the post reads.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will launch on January 25 on PlayStation 5, while the PC port will come at an unknown date to both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Sony only said that it’s launching in 2022, and it’s easy to see what they are doing: if the two games perform well on PlayStation 5, they’ll make the PC users wait until the end of the year. If the PS5 ports of the two games sell below the expectations, then Iron Galaxy’s work will surface earlier on Valve’s and Epic Games’ digital storefronts.

There is something weird in all of this, though. Sure, the PC will get Uncharted… but they get the fourth game and its standalone expansion. What about the first three?
