Would You Try God Of War As Atreus? Then This Upcoming Mod Is For You [VIDEO]

According to the developer, there’s still a lot of work to be done before the God of War expansion is released, but a teaser video has already been shown.

Without a doubt, one of the most iconic elements of God of War is the presence of Atreus. The son of Kratos has become an entirely relevant character in the franchise, and many users are interested in the mechanics and gameplay around the character. The arrival of the latest instalment on PC has not only attracted the attention of the community due to good sales but has also opened up thousands of opportunities for modders.

Along the same lines, Eurogamer has spotted an exciting project for fans of the character, a mod is in the works that will see Atreus take on the role of God of War’s protagonist. The author of the idea, user Speclizer, has shared a gameplay video on his YouTube channel, which gives us a look at the game from the perspective of Kratos’ son. And while the mod doesn’t have a specific release date yet, the video shows that it’s already in the works.

“As you can see, it is clearly not a smooth experience and it still requires a lot more work before release,” the creator explains in the video’s description.

In the gameplay, you can see Atreus moving as if he’s wearing skis all the time, and you can see some bugs, including his attacks, weapons and other details that don’t go unnoticed.

Either way, the mod is being made, and it looks delicious, so we’ll be watching for updates from the creator on social media. In addition, the latest adventure of Santa Monica’s God of War has inspired the creation of other types of content, which has nothing to do with mods, as it was the inspiration for the new Predator movie.
