Might and Magic Returns! Ubisoft Is Looking For Staff To Develop AAA Game In The Legendary Franchise

The Might and Magic saga began in 1986 and has seen many adventures up until the latest instalment in 2014.

Anyone who has followed the RPG genre practically since the beginning will probably be familiar with the Might and Magic franchise. This veteran saga began its adventures in the industry back in 1986 and has since produced more than ten games, not to mention a plethora of spin-offs. The fantasy universe still has a lot of potentials, which is why Ubisoft is looking to develop a new game.

Ubisoft Shanghai will develop the game

While no concrete details have been released about what to expect from the new M&M game, we do know that it will be a AAA title. So writes VGC, after spotting a job opening at Ubisoft, for which they’re looking for someone to “champion the brand marketing and product marketability of a new Might and Magic AAA game.”

According to the job opening, Ubisoft Shanghai would be responsible for developing the title. No further details on the initiative have been revealed, but it’s worth noting that the last numbered instalment in the saga, Might and Magic X Legacy, was released in early 2014 and came with a content update that even included a DLC with a new adventure and two previously unreleased dungeons.

We will have to wait for more information from Ubisoft on the new game, but fans of the series can now renew their hopes for the franchise’s future.
