Exoprimal: Capcom’s new dinosaur action game is announced, straight from State of Play! [VIDEO]

Here’s the announcement and trailer for Exoprimal, Capcom’s new action game with dinosaurs as enemies. For now, it looks like the game will be PlayStation-exclusive, although other platforms are not completely ruled out.

In Exoprimal, players will team up to fight hundreds of reptiles in a future world as hundreds of dinosaurs run in herds and thirst for blood. Capcom’s first big feature in the new State of Play is Exoprimal, a cooperative action video game in which players, equipped with exo-armour, take on these fierce reptiles in an urban environment. It’s one of those crazy ideas that can make a fun game.

The gameplay trailer already shows us massive battles against dozens of creatures, including a T-Rex, which we’ll have to face with energy shields and various fire and melee weapons. The video trailer didn’t reveal many more details about player options, though it appears that there will be different character classes with their own abilities and styles.

The video mentions PlayStation 5 and PS4, with a release planned for 2023, but it’s possible that the video game will be released on other platforms.
