Has Bayonetta 3’s Possible Release Date Been Leaked?!

Bayonetta 3 could easily be one of the most anticipated Nintendo Switch games to leak its release date to the internet potentially.

Bayonetta 2 was released in 2014; the franchise has been quiet since then. Bayonetta 3 was first announced at The Game Awards 2017, while the first gameplay trailer was released at the Nintendo Direct in September 2021. There, a 2022 release window for Bayonetta 3 was confirmed. Fans have been clamouring for an official release date and more information for some time now, with one leaker claiming that the release date will be 28 October.

Leaks live and die by their source, with many sources making their mark based on their information and many others simply making it up for fun. This information comes from a Twitter user called SyluxHunter2, who has only recently emerged and has relatively few followers so far.

This means fans should treat Bayonetta 3 information, like everything else, cautiously.

However, as pointed out by Redditor BrandsXavier, it seems his information is reliable. He has correctly revealed some content, as well as the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe expansion, the February Direct and the delay of Advanced Wars. He also leaked the Cyberpunk next-gen update accurately, but it seems that most of their information is still focused on Nintendo.

It should also be noted that for various reasons, most video games are released either on Tuesday or Friday. 28 October falls on a Friday, and admittedly October is an easy guess for Bayonetta 3. If Bayonetta is still coming in 2022, we’ll find out relatively soon how reliable this leak was.

After all, fans can rightly expect more information on several Nintendo games this summer.

Moreover, Nintendo hasn’t held an E3-level Direct yet, and it makes sense that this could take place sometime before autumn. The official unveiling may be delayed, but for many fans, it doesn’t matter what form we see it in first – what matters is that it’s out. Either way, we won’t have to wait much longer for Bayonetta 3 information.
