Another Severe Bug Is Hurting Diablo Immortal Players!

The joke here is that Activision Blizzard says they have a working solution, which does not fix the bug!

Diablo Immortal can be called a grindfest if you’re not willing to spend a single cent on the game, which was also worked on by one of China’s tech giants, NetEase. Designed strictly for mobile (iOS, Android), the game was also released on PC after the announcement. Still, it’s nowhere near the level of a full-fledged Diablo title (of course, Diablo IV, which is more traditional, is being developed in the meantime).

A bug has surfaced that is taking away millions of XP from players. Over the weekend, Diablo Immortal received a hotfix, in which Activision Blizzard has attempted to fix several bugs. These included one that prevented the game from awarding XP to the player via the Battle Pass. The problem is that while Blizzard says that the bug has been fixed (and thus the missing XP has been awarded, supposedly), the bug is still in the game!

” XP in various Battle Pass tasks were not being rewarded to players. There was a hotfix to address this, and the team is going through to calculate each individual’s lost XP through the periods affected by this bug. We have this data. The XP will be delivered once we go through the data,” Blizzard wrote, but Reddit still says the patch hasn’t fixed anything. There have also been examples of some players losing millions of XP after installing the patch.

So we are now at the point where not a single essential feature is working correctly in a game that, besides the Diablo franchise, also reflects incredibly badly on Blizzard, where you would have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to max out a single (!) character. Even the term “incredible” is not strong enough.
