Daniel Craig Thinks Secrets Are Hidden In Glass Onion’s New Trailer… [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – Daniel Craig returns as Benoit Blanc in the equally insane sequel to Knives Out.

Daniel Craig is proud to be seen in the new poster for the sequel to Knives Out, titled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Craig is seen as Benoit Blanc, standing by the pool watching the new line of suspects. But in addition to the poster, we also received a trailer yesterday, which supposedly reveals much more about the film than we might first think.

In the sequel to 2019’s surprisingly successful Knives Out, the brilliant detective Benoit Blanc is once again called in to solve another murder mystery.

Tech billionaire Miles Bron invites his friends on a trip to his private Greek island. But when someone turns up dead, Detective Benoit Blanc is assigned to the case. The newly released trailer offers even more clues, at least according to Daniel Craig…

As with its predecessor, Glass Onion has a star-studded cast: in addition to Oscar nominee Edward Norton as Bron, the sequel also stars Leslie Odom Jr. as Lionel Toussaint, a scientist working for Miles who has a complicated relationship with the tech mogul; Janelle Monáe as Cassandra “Andi” Brand, a tech entrepreneur; Kathryn Hahn as Claire Debella, a Connecticut governor running for the Senate seat.

Also starring are Kate Hudson as Birdie Jay, a fashion designer; Jessica Henwick as Peg, Birdie’s assistant; Dave Bautista as Duke Cody, a YouTube star; Madelyn Cline as Whiskey, Duke’s younger girlfriend and assistant in the network.

Ethan Hawke joins them, but his role is still a mystery – another mystery worth investigating!

Knives Out received critical acclaim when it was released in 2019, but returning star Daniel Craig says Glass Onion will be even better than its predecessor. “I’m so lucky to have Rian in my life. He’s such a great writer,” Craig said of returning to the role of Benoit Blanc. “We’ve just finished the second one, literally weeks ago. They’ve just wrapped up in Serbia. Dare I say it’s better? We’ll see. I don’t want to tempt fate. It’s different, and that’s the amazing thing. It’s still a Benoit Blanc mystery, but it’s very different. I’m very excited about it.”

Daniel Craig isn’t the only one who is confident about the sequel, as star Dave Bautista also feels that Glass Onion has everything it takes to surpass its predecessors.

“I really think it’s going to be as good, if not better, than the first one. I’m always afraid to say that because I don’t want anybody to get offended saying that we’re going to be better, but I really do think this,” said the actor.

Rian Johnson will continue in the writer-directors chair, and the film will have its world premiere at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival on 10 September 2022. The sequel to the crime thriller will then be released in cinemas in November 2022 and on Netflix on 23 December 2022.
