An Assassin’s Creed Fan Has Revealed Interesting New Info About Mirage!

A dedicated fan has translated the text on the statue of Basim that will accompany the Assassin’s Creed Mirage collector’s edition.

The Assassin’s Creed Mirage collector’s edition comes with some exciting goodies. In addition to the base game, this edition includes a Prince of Persia-inspired outfit, a steelbook-case, a map of Baghdad, digital and physical versions of the soundtrack and artbook, and additional items. Most of all, the 32 cm figure of Basim, the main character, has attracted the public’s attention with some Arabic lettering.

A user named chrischris1541 posted on the Assassin’s Creed subreddit asking if others had translated the text. A fan with the username BIG0H claims to be from Kuwait and goes on to translate the inscription on the statue into English.

He says the translation is “From darkness come towards the light”.

Another gamer, Spiritual-Neck-2957, has also translated it as “from darkness towards the light”, and others have suggested similar phrases.

One gamer claims that direct translation into English will not be as effective, but it seems that users can grasp the meaning behind the words. This is followed by a discussion about how this phrase relates to the series’ story. Some fans are jokingly posting incorrect translations, such as “do not pre-order!” but many are expressing their excitement for the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

In addition to returning to the series’ roots, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not include playable modern-day segments.

Ubisoft has decided to focus entirely on Basim’s background and past with this game. Players will, of course, still be inside the Animus, but there will be no playable present-day segments.

In addition, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not even be full-priced, as it will cost $50 at launch, with the deluxe and collector’s editions costing $60 and $150, respectively. However, Ubisoft has confirmed that it will charge more for its big AAA games, so fans can expect the next AAA Ubisoft games to be priced at least $70. Other publishers charge the same amount for current-generation games, and this price is likely to become the standard in the future.
