This means it’s ready for mass production and unlikely to be delayed. However, games these days get the first-day patch around the release time to fix the last bugs and resolve other remaining issues. This is likely to be the case for God of War Ragnarok. Sony has now shared a new behind-the-scenes video that gives players a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes work.

The new video is titled Shaping the Story. It’s over 10 minutes long and consists mainly of interviews with the development team about the story. He first talks about the main plot of God of War 2018 before building up to Ragnarok. The video also includes some footage from the mocap studio. Here actors provide the voices and shape the characters to bring them to life.

Towards the end of the video, the developers discuss how the God of War North saga will only span two games.

They confirm that a lot is happening in this final chapter and that God of War Ragnarok will bring closure to many of the issues fans have from the first game.

Santa Monica Studio also confirms that this video is just the first part of an episodic series. PlayStation plans to share a new video every Tuesday for the next nine weeks. These will give players a deep dive into an aspect of the game. This series will cover a range of topics, from the design of the game’s combat system to the creation of the soundtrack.
