New Convenience Features Added To Persona 3 Portable And Persona 4 Golden [VIDEO]

Atlus, a SEGA subsidiary, has detailed how the new ports of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden will be better than the base games.

Atlus wrote: “Smooth, high-resolution graphics: Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden have been reborn from their original versions with high-resolution graphics, allowing you to enjoy the game with vividly high-definition visuals and smooth controls. Choose your difficulty from the start: the difficulty level you could select from your second playthrough can now be chosen from when you start the game. Since the difficulty level does not affect the story’s development, “Very Easy” or “Easy” are recommended for players who want to enjoy the story.

Quick save: in addition, to save points, you can now save your game at any time with “Quick Save.” Album feature for Persona 4 Golden: a new function has been added to Persona 4 Golden, which allows you to look back on previous scenes from the album in your room. You can also choose different answers from those you selected when you first played the scene.” This tweet reveals the games will cost 1980 yen per title in Japan, so it might be 20 bucks in the West a pop.

When it was announced in June that these two games (as well as Persona 5 Royal) would be getting new ports, we wrote: Persona 4 Golden – They say your soulmate will appear if you stare into a television set on a rainy night… This strange rumor slowly spreads through the rural town of Inaba, the protagonist’s new home, just as a chain of mysterious murders begins. As the protagonist and his teammates chase after the truth, they find themselves opening the door to another world. For the first time, enjoy Persona 4 Golden with text in French, Italian, German, and Spanish! Persona 3 Portable – If I say there’s an hour “hidden” between one day and the next…would you believe me? This unknown time is the “Dark Hour.” Unfamiliar stillness swallows the city, people turn into eerie coffins, and otherworldly monsters called Shadows swarm. One night, the protagonist is attacked by these Shadows. When all hope seems lost, the power of the heart, their Persona, is awakened. Featuring enhanced graphics, Persona 3 Portable will also be available with French, Italian, German, and Spanish text for the first time!”

Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden will arrive for Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 19. P3P will launch on Steam and Microsoft Store, while P4G will launch on Microsoft Store. Both games will be on Xbox Game Pass from launch.
