Final Fantasy XVI: We Can Expect Amazing Performance On PS5! [VIDEO]

“Look at the power of the PS5!!” said Yoshi-P, commenting on Final Fantasy XVI’s performance.

We’re holding our breath as we wait for Final Fantasy XVI. Even if the main character is called Clive. Thankfully, Square Enix keeps dropping more and more details as the game’s visuals continue to impress.

Recently, Square Enix boss and series veteran Yoshi-P said some interesting things about the game and its PS5 performance during a livestream (thanks to Genki and via Pushsquare).

“Look at the power of the PS5!” were the words of Naoki Yoshida. He was speaking in reference to the latest ‘Revenge’ trailer for the game, in which he marvelled at what Sony’s hardware prowess (and, of course, the expertise of its developers) could do. According to the producer, Final Fantasy XVI looks to be a true showcase of the PS5’s power.

What’s more, thanks to the PS5’s SSD and other hardware goodies, the game will be missing loading screens. “It’s all real-time rendering,” Yoshi-P said of the latest trailer. “No loading!”

Meanwhile, Resetera’s site noted how much the game’s graphics have improved since the title was first unveiled, and the OP included screenshots to show how the game has evolved.

It’s really clear from the images how far the game has come.

However, it’s not just the graphics that are impressive. On the Resetera thread, various commenters applauded Square Enix’s developers for their artistic skills. For what they have shown in bringing the game and concept to visual life. The art direction reflects the darker and more mature themes that players can expect in the upcoming game. And the absence of loading screens should ensure a seamless experience on PS5.
