The Wednesday Star Attended a “Werewolf Training Camp” to Prepare for Her Role [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – “I’ve never done so much parkour in my life. I was running on all fours on the floor, jumping over things, and the stuntmen were pretending to be sheep.”

One of last year’s biggest-selling Netflix series brought not only the title character Jenna Ortega to fame. Emma Myers, who plays Wednesday’s roommate Enid, also has the opportunity to build a nice career for herself, and judging by her interviews, her “likeability” will certainly not be a problem. The young actress was recently a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show, where she also talked a little about filming Wednesday.

Among other things, Myers talked about how, although she considers herself an introvert, playing Wednesday wouldn’t come naturally to her, whereas the character of Enid comes more naturally to her, even though she doesn’t have much in common with her real self, except perhaps that she considers herself to be quite optimistic. The actress also revealed that to play Enid, she had to go through a rather strange “training”, namely a “werewolf training” camp.

The actress said that she had to go to this ‘training’ before the sixth episode of the series, because in that episode all the students in Nevermore are visited by their families, and the story goes that Enid has 4-5 brothers and sisters, all of whom have the ability to turn into werewolves. So even before these scenes were shot, the camp had to be dropped, where the actors had to do some pretty weird things:

“I’ve never done so much parkour in my life. I was running on all fours on the floor and there were some stuntmen pretending to be sheep. I think anybody who walked past the building and looked in would have asked themselves, ‘What the hell is going on here?'”

Unfortunately, Myers didn’t explain why he needed the training, since he doesn’t change until the last episode and doesn’t need to do much acrobatics after that (or even have to do any scenes himself in a transformed form), but it was probably a way for the creators to bring the actors playing the family together and get the participants to do some general “werewolf stuff”.
