The sequel to the popular social horror survival game Deceit, called Deceit 2, has been announced by World Makers. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, and is set to release in 2023.

Deceit 2 will feature new gameplay mechanics and enhanced visuals, as well as a significant upgrade in graphics. The game’s visuals have been built completely from the ground up for modern platforms using Unreal Engine 5, featuring more detailed characters and horrifying monsters, as well as higher-fidelity textures in maps.

One of the significant upgrades in Deceit 2 is the player count, which has been expanded from six to nine players. In addition to the new features, Deceit 2 also includes new and returning characters from the original game, following the story of a mysterious ritual with blood and subterfuge in a multidimensional fight to survive. The game also offers rich investigation mechanics with new items, clues, and abilities that flesh out the investigation gameplay.

Deceit 2 marks the franchise’s debut on consoles, offering a fully engrossing and truly terrifying multiplayer game where only the sane will survive. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) in 2023.
