New Sound Projector Launched by Hisense

TECH NEWS – The Hisense soundbar named U5120GW comes with a total of 12 speakers and 5.1.2-channel surround sound. Thanks to its Dolby Atmos technology, it can fill the space in 360 degrees, studio-like (Hi-Res audio certificate), providing a perfect acoustic sensation. The device supports the most popular audio systems and formats, and its AI-based technology is able to change the tone depending on the scene, whether it’s going to the movies, listening to music or even gaming. The soundbar – which is already available at official resellers – can also claim the EISA “Home Theater Sound Projector of the Year 2022 – 2023” professional award.

The manufacturer provided the U5120GW soundbar with 11 speakers and a wireless subwoofer, which can deliver a total of 510 watts of power, providing a perfect acoustic feeling with a surround effect. Powerful bass is ensured by a subwoofer matching the minimalist design, which the company dreamed up with an output power of 180 W and a low-frequency sound effect of 40 Hz.

The device supports the most popular audio systems and formats, such as DTS:X or Dolby Atmos. The former virtualizes the sound heights in addition to the traditional stereo sound, thus creating a multidimensional sound effect, while the Dolby Atmos technology is responsible for the soundbar’s surround sound. The device, which can be easily controlled with the remote control, is also able to improve the quality of the music thanks to its Hi-Remaster support, so that the model truly reproduces the original sound without distortion or loss of details.

Tailored to our taste with AI technology

The manufacturer equipped the U5120GW with tone adjustment technology based on artificial intelligence, which can adjust individual tones to the present. The result is full sound with a wide dynamic range, whether it’s movies, music, sports or gaming. In movie mode, the most complex cinema effect is emphasized, while when listening to a news station, the device focuses on the frequencies of the newsreader’s voice so that they are as clearly understood and heard as possible. The model can also be used in night mode, which makes even the most intimate conversations easily perceptible even at the lowest volume.

The U5120GW’s 4K pass-through function ensures a seamless 4K experience whether it’s a video device, TV or projector.

Soundbar of the year

Hisense’s latest soundbar has already won the recognition of the profession, as it won the EISA “Home theater sound projector of the year 2022 – 2023″ professional award. The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) is an association representing 55 leading technology publications from 29 countries, which annually awards the best in television, image and sound technology products.

The model also offers several connection options: it can be easily connected to wireless devices via Bluetooth, and the built-in HDMI input and a wide-band HDMI output supporting 4K video streaming ensure easy connectivity.

The soundbar also supports Google and Amazon Alexa services and can be easily paired with Apple (AirPlay) and Android (Chromecast) devices.

Hisense’s newest, top-of-the-line sound projector can be found at official resellers on the Hungarian market at a suggested retail price of HUF 239,990.
