The first season of Time, starring Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, was a hit with viewers and critics. Written by BAFTA award winner Jimmy McGovern, the series took place in a men’s prison, where the fates of a teacher (Bean) convicted of drunk driving and a conscientious prison guard (Graham) intersected.

In the second season, we can meet new characters who are trying to survive in a women’s prison. Bella Ramsey plays Kelsey, a young girl who cannot accept her situation. Jodie Whittaker stars as Orla, a woman with a mysterious past who doesn’t want to be in a relationship with anyone. Tamara Lawrence plays Abi, a sensitive and intelligent woman who is behind bars because of a tragic event.
