MOVIE NEWS – Chris Hemsworth has revealed the scariest stunt he’s ever experienced while working on the sequel to Netflix’s 2020 blockbuster Extraction 2.

 

 

Chris Hemsworth, the lead actor in Extraction 2, spoke candidly about the most terrifying stunt he witnessed in the film. It’s nothing less than an adrenaline-pumping spectacle involving a train and a helicopter.

After the phenomenal success of Netflix’s blockbuster 2020 action movie Extraction, Hemsworth has started filming the highly anticipated sequel, which will soon be released on Netflix.

In an extraordinary show of commitment, Hemsworth bravely took on the challenging action sequences of Extraction 2 without relying on a stunt double for much of the film.

In an interview with AP Entertainment, Hemsworth talked about the scariest stunt he encountered while filming the movie. The actor revealed one particular scene where he found himself on top of a moving train as a helicopter flew backwards directly in front of him. “There’s always a risk going into those scenes. The one that scared me the most was being on top of a moving train that was going 40 miles an hour, and having a helicopter 20 feet in front of me, flying backwards, and Sam in the middle filming the whole thing,” Hemsworth recounted. “It’s full of experiences like that, but I think it gives the audience an authenticity and truth to the adrenaline, as opposed to if you shoot on a green screen where everything’s fabricated and post-production built. This is real, you know? We’re sweating, we’re anxious, we’re nervous, intimidated, and that’s what’s being captured.”

While filming the daring scene in Extraction 2 on a moving train, Hemsworth described a mixture of exhilaration and a sense of daring and extraordinary enterprise. He explained that when he was fully immersed in the experience, there was no acting required. The authenticity and spontaneity gave the scene a unique and genuine quality. It was unlike anything that could be replicated with green screen technology. Despite the fear intertwined with the excitement, Hemsworth found it all enjoyable.

While he was excited to see the heightened and action-packed stunts, he was particularly enthusiastic about the emotional aspect of the sequel, which resonated harmoniously with the action, making a perfect complement.

After his near-death experience in the first film, Rake reemerges as the skilled Australian agent. He embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue the abused family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from a high-security prison. The film premieres tomorrow on Netflix.
