“It Was Humiliating to Have Me to Strip Naked” – Emilia Clarke Recalls “Sad Memories” of Filming Game of Thrones

MOVIE NEWS – After Game of Thrones ends, an actor talks about his “sad” time on the HBO series and reflects on the show’s legacy.

Game of Thrones actor Emilia Clarke, who shot to fame playing Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons, has opened up about her “sad” time on the HBO series, which ran for eight seasons and won huge acclaim. While talking about his current work, he shares his experiences in the series that ended in 2018 but is re-emerging in light of the spin-off series House of Dragons.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the actress admitted that she’s still processing the whole experience, years after the Game of Thrones finale. Dealing with fame while dealing with personal issues such as two aneurysms and the loss of his father took its toll on the young actor. On the plus side, Clarke is grateful for the experience and the wild character she got to play.

“There were times when I was very sad on the show, simply because I was a young woman in her twenties. It was all during ‘Game of Thrones,’ which could be very confusing at times. Daenerys, I hope, is of a certain caliber it’s associated with work, so I’m lucky that it is. As long as people don’t ask about nudity.”

After Game of Thrones, Clarke turned to films and theater as she “needed different experiences” after a long role playing the same character. Some of these projects include being part of the cast of Secret Invasion, The Pod Generation, and Above Suspicion, and he also made his debut as a comic book writer with M.O.M.: Mother of Madness. Clarke emphasized that she wants to do everything she hasn’t been able to do before.

In the McCarthy biopic, Jean Kerr will star as the wife of US Senator Joseph McCarthy, and in An Ideal Wife, Constance Lloyd will star as the wife of Irish author Oscar Wilde. The actress is expanding her acting career with her next projects, which won’t involve as long a commitment as working on Game of Thrones.

Despite admitting that there were difficult times during Game of Thrones’ run, he expressed his gratitude for the experience and the love that the show and his character have received. The actor has worked in franchises before, and his ongoing Marvel project is another famous universe. Although her current and upcoming roles add more variety to her filmography, Daenerys remains her most iconic role.
