A17 Bionic: The iPhone 15 Pro Gets A Boost Thanks To The New Chip

TECH NEWS – The processor has the same number of cores as the A16 Bionic, but an extra GPU core will result in better graphics performance in the new, presumably more expensive iPhone 15 Pro.

In a month, Apple will probably hold an event announcing the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Pro, and the Apple Watch Series 9. A grade 5 titanium chassis will be used for the more expensive new iPhone pair, and internally, an A17 Bionic chip based on TSMC’s 3-nanometer technology will be found in the Pro and Pro Max. Details about these were published by a leaker on Twitter.

According to Unknownz21, the A17 Bionic will be the first mobile chip based on a 3nm architecture, leading to greater power efficiency. The chip carries a 6-core CPU and 6-core GPU, which means better computing and graphics performance for the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max mobiles. (The A16 Bionic’s GPU is 5-core!) So for gaming and editing, two more graphics-intensive processes, we can better adapt the new iPhone to more powerful models. RAM will be 6 GB in the iPhone 15 Pro, while the Pro Max gets 8 GB. (The iPhone 14 Pro also has 6 GB of RAM.)

In addition to the titanium frame, the iPhone 15 Pro will feature other exterior innovations. There will be a new Action button that you can set to your preferences. The camera’s sensors will also be improved, so you can take better pictures in lower light (Apple is trying to get back at the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra…), and video recording will be more advanced. So, the usual improvements have been made by Apple, but we wrote the other day that the new technology could result in a higher price. At the same time, the mobile market in the US has seen a decline in Cupertino-based company’s share of the mobile phone market!

The existence of the iPhone 15 is not a rumor, but the A17 Bionic performance is not yet official.
